Nick Jikomes, PhD gives a talk summarizing a research project between Leafly, the University of Colorado-Boulder, and several cannabis testing laboratories in the United States. The talk summarizes the findings of a research study (link below) about the chemical diversity of commercial cannabis flower across six US states.
The research Nick discusses examines questions related to the cannabinoid and terpene content of commercial cannabis, as well as how well commercial labeling systems (Indica/Sativa, “strain names”) relate to the underlying chemical profile of the cannabis products they’re attached to.
