Put in the name Neil Allard to find file. The main plaintiffs so far are Neil Allard, Tanya Beemish, David Hebert, J.M., and Shawn Davey. See “MMAR Statement of Claim” http://www.johnconroy.com/MMARlitigation.htm But thousands more are part of the proposed class action. In Canada, Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Conservative Party government are putting an end to medical marijuana licence holders growing their own pot. See Health Canada http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/dhp-mps/marihuana/index-eng.php The plaintiffs say this is disastrous for them as buying it from the government will be impossibly expensive, and this will in effect deprive them of their needed weed. The government is ending the practice of licence holders from growing their own because they say the program has been abused by licence holders. They say as the government, they have a right to impose these new regulations, and they are constitutional. Lawyer Conroy and his plaintiffs say they are unconstitutional. The government has to respond one way or other by about January 13, 2014. They will either file a motion to kick the case out of court, file a defence, or ask for more time to respond. Time is of the essence because the new regulations come into effect April 1, 2014. Conroy will be in court in Vancouver February 2014, filing an interim motion to temporarily put on hold the new regulations until the trial of the case. If Liberal Justin Trudeau becomes prime minister of Canada in 2015 (he is ahead in the polls) that would make this case academic (moot) as Trudeau has promised to legalize marijuana. Also included, we review/critique the MGK “Machine Gun Kelly” rap recording of Adele’s “Chasing Pavements”, including an analysis of the word “mother fucker” used by him and so many other rappers. Nowadays it is never used to mean someone is having sex with their mother. In fact, it is sometimes used as a compliment. The usage of the word came about in 1969. You should Google the word for more info. We give 5***** out of 5 to MGK for his excellent recording. But it would still be a great recording without the use of the word “motherfucker”. But obviously rap music is from the streets and it may be a necessary ingredient to capture the mood intended. In any event, this is a talented young man.
